AAUK Online Workshop with Kate Caldwell, Associate Casting Director with Suzanne Smith’s office, on Saturday 10th June

Join us for a chance to practice your selftape audition skills online with Kate Caldwell, Associate Casting Director for Suzanne Smith. Kate will look at our Spotlight profiles and assign scenes for us to selftape for her feedback during the workshop. There will be a chance for a Q&A at the end.

Kate’s bio:
After over 20 years of working in casting in Los Angeles, Kate moved to Bristol and started a new life in England. Prior to moving, Kate and her casting partner were nominated for a Primetime Emmy for Outstanding Casting for a Limited Series, Movie or Special for Netflix’s UNBELIEVABLE. Other notable projects include SILO, KINGDOM (US), SWEET VIRGINIA, HELL ON WHEELS.

AAUK In-House Selftape Workshop on Zoom

Later this month we’ll be having another selftape workshop/meet up to exchange selftape tips.

Date: Wednesday 31st May
Time: 7pm to 9pm UK time
Place: Zoom
Fee: Free

I will send around a choice of scenes to choose from by Friday the week before the meet up. If you’d like feedback on your selftape then send a link back in time for the workshop. You don’t have to submit a tape to attend the workshop, everyone is more than welcome to come to watch and chat.

In addition to the scenes, if anyone has any selftapes that brought you to the next level (either a recall or a casting) we’d love it if you could share that so we can all see what is working. I know NDAs will limit those, but whatever you can share will be appreciated.
