Brittany is Directing a production of Brilliant Traces by Cindy Lou Johnson. The place is a remote cabin in the wilds of Alaska. As a blizzard rages outside, a lonely figure, Henry Harry, lies sleeping under a heap of blankets. He is awakened suddenly by the insistent knocking of an unexpected visitor—who turns out to be Rosannah DeLuce, a distraught young woman who has fled all the way from Arizona to escape her impending marriage. Brilliant Traces is a play about two people desperate to escape the world but find themselves trapped with the only person who might just understand them. Tom Carter and Evie Batchelor play Henry Harry and Rosannah DeLuce respectively in this claustrophobic two hander. Performing 18-19 February at The cornerHOUSE in Surbiton.
